The title is rather odd. "The First King of Europe?"
Perhaps they're alluding to the EU?
I wondered at that also, considering an EU angle or maybe the first King of "modern" Europe in a similar way.
He had an enormous influence in Europe, so it does make sense. They didn't call him the Nestor of Europe with no reason.
